Question: I can Dial UP to ASPI but Since
December 2nd I have never have any e-mail.
Answer: Our New E-mail server is on a different server than our
website, so you must make sure that your incoming and outgoing mail servers
are configured correctly. Change your POP3 and SMTP Server to
mail.aspi.net Please see http://www.aspi.net/upgrade.htm
for more instructions.
Question: After the December 2nd Mail Cut Over
I received several hundred messages all the way back from 1999.
Answer: Our New E-mail server is on a different server. If you had
your email client configured to leave a copy of the messages on the server,
you will received a new copy as the mail server didn't know that your client
already downloaded them. You should remove this setting in your email
client, as you might run out of storage space for your mail box on the
server, which will result in loss and or interruption of email. You are only
allowed 10Megs of storage. Please see http://www.aspi.net/upgrade.htm
for more instructions.
Question: Why is it that when I get my e-mail I
keep getting the same exact messages over and over?
Answer: You are not allowing enough time for all your messages to
download. Until the last message in you POP Box is downloaded it will not
remove the messages from the mail server. If this is taking a long time it
is because you have a large e-mail. Please use our web interface to delete
the message if you need to. |
